Post by: Squeeze_Bacon on September 19, 2017, 07:49:35 PM
Really that good?  (Last 30 seconds of demo)

Gut says really really good player (clean) but request more experienced eyes on please.

Thank you!

Demo inconclusive. So far I agree with your gut that this player is clean. This player also has a clean PBBans/GGC/PunkBuster history in 5 different PB enabled games that I know of, BFBC2, BF3, BF4, MOHWF, RO2. Also has ZERO VAC bans on Steam account. This player is squeeky clean according to the available evidence. Thanks for the demo Bacon appreciate it.

Thanks good shot.    SexyBeast and Brewtal came in a map or two after demo cut and spec'd.     Game play seemed to change and scores dropped with FS in server.    Could be a coinkidink.

This one and another (brew posted a demo of that one) both went 100+ on the same team, same map (cliffside).

Gut went flip flop - but since demo is inconclusive and your other research (thank you) speaks well - will just watch if he returns.

As always - thank you for running such a great server, being so rapid in your responses to these things, etc.

No problem we appreciate all the help we can get.  Brew's other demo of XenuCruise was also inconclusive posted again below. So far they both look like skilled players and could have been friends joining the same team.

I believe what we are seeing sometimes are either trigger bot or silent aim hacks

They are essentially impossible to detect through a demo as it looks like the player is just really good. On occasion I have said I was going to spec a player I thought had these and he has just left. The other angle is just logic. A player with a 200 ping and a 50/1 k/d is extremely suspicious based on lag alone. I would be considering lowering the acceptable ping level to 150 or so since most of these guys are from overseas. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for all the demo's.  As Goodshot said we really appreciate all the help catching the cheaters.

If we limit the max ping it will remove many players from the server though.  And most of them are legit players, just so so connections.  I myself have a less then stellar connection and ping 120 on average and up to 200 at times.

Nice machine...I've got a pretty flakey connection too.  Ping is usually good but often it feels like I'm sharing my bandwidth even though I live alone and have locked down my wifi. I believe it's due to the old infrastucture of my ISP, but try explaing that to their "technicians". That accounts for the sometimes short stays on the server. Basically can't play at a competitive level and at my age I need all the breaks I can get.  Anyway, back to the topic. I understand not wanting to lower the ping limit and losing players. On the other hand, I wonder how many new players don't come back after they get continually wiped out by some miraculous shooters.  There is one guy that you might want to spec if he comes back Don't rock boat. High ping high score, not noticable aimbot, but???

dontrockboat recorded a video of his monitor while playing one round with a KDR of 154 and 18 which proves he is clean beyond any doubt.  Game play is exactly the same as it has always been but this time we get to see it on his monitor.  Anyone can see it right here on OneDrive:

Finally had a chance to watch the OneDrive of D.R.B.    Impressive.

Thought to myself, I want to go to the D.R.B. school of pwning.  But then I realized I was already being schooled over and over and over and over in the vid.    :-)

My only other thought was D.R.B. (and those like him) really need to dial it back a smidgen:   their excellent and clean game play leads the frustration on the part of the weak minded and they feel compelled to download hax to compensate.  (sad but true).

Good job though D.R.B.    ^^)   Thank you for showing all how its done.
