Welcome to our forum Smeggle. We appreciate you taking the time to finding out why you were banned. We know you don't use hacks, that's not the problem.
You were banned for constantly breaking our server rules and have been warned multiple times. Specifically rules #2,#3,#4, and #8. You constantly accuse other players for cheating and never have any proof to back it up. As a result you end up constantly disrespecting clean players and breaking 3 more rules along with your false accusations. I have personally witnessed you accusing other players of hacking many times and being wrong about it. We don't mind when other players call out other players for hacking as long as they're correct in their assessment. We appreciate it as it helps us to quickly identify and ban the hackers. But frivolous false accusations do nothing but cause paranoia, hostility and disrespect towards other players.
If you're accusing another player of cheating on our server without submitting a demo and are wrong about it, you're breaking Rule #2. If you're accusing other players of cheating and are correct, then you're not breaking Rule #2 and are helping deal with the hacker problem. You just need to be 100% sure and correct in your accusations, otherwise you're breaking Rule #2. If you're not sure, but suspect that a player may be cheating you have the option of quietly recording a demo and submitting it here on our forum. If your demo is conclusive the hacker will be banned immediately. Otherwise it's just better to stay out of it and let our admins and knowledgeable regulars deal with it as they always have.
Respectfully, you're constantly falling for and feeding into the drama/paranoia caused by the use of hacks and not doing anything to help combat the problem. If you want to fight the good fight against hackers, I recommend you start recording demos and learn the difference between hackers and skilled players. If you enjoy playing first person shooters, it's in your best interest to learn the difference. Otherwise you will always be looking over your shoulder and falsely accusing other players as you have been for the past year.

Rule #8: No profanity, offensive language or whining allowed (in any language).
Rule #9: No racism, racist remarks or race baiting.
Rule #10: No sexual harassment or sexually oriented language.

Sounds good your ban is lifted. And if you think a player may be cheating, by all means bring it here with your demo, and if it's conclusive we will take care of it.

Just thought I'd throw my two cents in here.
Smeggle, I have to give you kudos for this thread. You provided a shining example of how to appeal a ban if a person wants to be unbanned. You gave the required information, then "took your medicine" when faced with the reason for your ban. We don't get that a lot around here and it is very much appreciated when it happens. What we generally get is someone that comes to the forum with a huge chip on their shoulder and a desire to spread as much machismo as they can possibly get away with.
After I reinstalled WaW the first time, I bounced from server to server before settling in a FS. Although our rules seem a little strict to some, I'll tell you a few things I've been banned for on other servers that will put it in perspective. I've been banned for using rifle nades, sprinting, and my personal favorite because it got me banned the most, my name. Not long after coming to FS, I managed to get B3's attention a couple times but I've learned to keep my thoughts to myself if I get angry or just leave and try playing later. Just doing those two things will keep you from having to post in this section again.
