Hey guys how you think over a Scrim?

And how you think over a scrim on date:


sunday 18.März (March) cod 2


sunday 25.März (March) cod 4

Ok the time we have to choose or we take the sunday beatoff time


At moment I have post this on Wxg too.
I have to look how the recall is and then i can see how much players.The following players are not allowed:
Kimo, Goodshot, 8eight, Raven and Electric  only as spectators.

You got that right. Goodshot, 8IGHT and Kimo would destroy us. Electric still can't play COD 4 if I remember right.
Raven doesn't play COD 4 either.

I can play COD 4 only if smoke grenades are off limits for everyone.
Framerate on my integrated HD 4250 graphics drops to 20 or less in/near smoke ... on yitch3 config.
With stock config things are a lot worse (15-60 fps).

edit: this is measured without punkbuster on stock maps. With punkbuster things might get even worse.

U need to tweak some of that config so it runs right for u and your machine, it prolly won't *as is*........

I tested it on both stock config (on my primary profile) and already heavily customized yitch3 (on my secondary profile). It drops to 20 no matter what I do.
Tbh I'd rather play with consistent 15-60 fps (stock config, because with yitch3 my framerate is all over the place.
At least with stock config I have bullet impacts enabled, so I can write my name on the wall if I'm bored
Indoor is 60-80(ish), outdoor 35-50(ish) and drops to 20 in/near smoke.
Like I said, whatever I do, smoke kills it equally, regardless of config settings. And smoke can't be disabled, because it's values are cheat protected.

I wasn't suggesting anything on the graphics side, more about connection and how these 3 settings inter-relate, which in turn *may* help u. 

I know the yitch has these settings changed (prolly along with every other config in the book) which 'may or may not' be helping u.

Note:  As an 'added' you may even request the server admin *cap* the frame-rate allowed to 125fps.....  Take some of the 'sting' off poorer peeps with older machines vs. peeps spending thousands for bragging rites

A TDM Map Who you have to play on both sides
A SD Map "--"

when we play a draw then I toss a coin and then wins WxG.
When you want proof i toss the coin right you have to fly over to my home.
You can still choose between heads or tails

3. So grizz, jarhead kimo, which server we play on the cod 2 scrim
4. which server on the cod 4 scrim.


5. Do you agree with 1 ctf on both sides, 1 DTM on both sides, 1 SD on both sides or other mod on cod 4

I agree with your gametype suggestions, I  personally love CTF and SD myself, especially for scrim purposes (no real teamwork in TDM) but not sure if other FS will agree too (this is "SD hating" territory ).

BTW, is there a chance we could swap COD2 and COD4 day? Would others be OK with this? I will be out of town on the weekend of the 18th and would hate to miss the COD2 scrim!!! (COD4 scrim ... not so much haha) 

1) If we are using custom maps for the scrim, allow me to suggest one for CTF round: Most of you know it well and it's one of the most balanced CTF maps I have ever played (for obvious reasons) and it's also incredibly fun:

2) If we play an SD round, I think we should stick to tried and true (stock) classics like Carentan or Toujane, to minimize "post-defeat whining" (about map being unbalanced, or unknown to the other team, etc.). Or just let each clan pick a map for each half, no restrictions.

3) Don't care much for TDM map(s) chosen, maybe one of you has some suggestions?

Brecourt and Caen are just as good for S&D/CTF. Rostov (mp_harbor) is another classic that can work equally well.
Aside from Carentan, Brecourt is the only map that lived in (almost) every COD title made by Infinity Ward - COD, COD: UO, COD 2 and MW 2 (it's called Wasteland there).

Just my 2 cents.

So we can do 2 ctf and one ctfb so all can agree and the discussion of a TDM or S+D is gone.
That do not disturb me and I mean we all can live with.
The maps. Yes Carentan. Toujane, Brecourt. is good for me.
we must play that on both sides guys so the spawn points are for everybody the same and no one can wine about.
So I agree this maps.
